Archaeological Analytics was founded by Acacia Berry, an archaeologist with 15 years of fieldwork, teaching and managing cultural heritage collections. Acacia has had the opportunity to create public programming through the American Museum of Natural History, NYC’s Landmarks Preservation Commission and other cultural heritage firms in the tri-state area. She is using these institutional experiences and an expertise in material culture analyses to expand public outreach into the digital sphere.
What We Do
Since 2016, Archaeological Analytics has created multiple platforms to make it easier for U.S. and Canadian institutions to showcase their digital collections to social media audiences interested in archaeology, artifacts, history, culture and science.
How We Do It
The foundation of our brand is to become the most comprehensive, informative and socially relevant source for professional material culture research on web and social media. We do this through the use of creative branding and strong metadata.
Why we do it
In 2018, the Society for American Archaeology reported that less than 12% of the public learn about archaeology through digital media. We are changing those statistics by offer viable options for institutions to go digital and increase support for U.S. and Canadian cultural heritage.
